Sunday, December 14, 3:00 p.m. --"Bad News. Good News”-- a Christmas choir concert with actors and visuals.   Free and open to the public.

Bad News. Good News, a Christmas Concert with actors and visuals will be presented Sunday, December 14 at 3 p.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 180 24th Street West, Billings.    Concerned about news of wars, famines, and disease, a family remembers bad news is a constant.  As part of Christmas preparation the choir sings of waiting for the good news brought to us by Jesus.  The family then talks about how we are called by name to enter into changing our world toward peace and love.  Through our hands and with compassionate hearts, we can bring about the Kingdom of God.  The eight anthem program ends with world-wide rejoicing of the good news with chimes.  Accompanying the 16 member choir is Mary Apple and Jennifer Burns on piano, Marina Graham on cello, Betty Whiting on flute, Karen Eddy on drums and pennywhistle.  Cynthia Kessler is the assistant director.  Soloists are Curt Kochner and Bob Wood.  Actors are Mike Ferguson, Ebin Gormley, Rose Santos, and Vicki Welch.  Visuals and sound effects are produced by Ben Larson.  Betty Whiting has written the script and directs the production.  The event is free and open to the public.  Invite your friends and family.
